Liverpool ticket prices!! WTF
|
General sale from band 1 to 5 they're £95, £90, £80, £75 £75, £65. And not a single concession to be had, not even for kids.
Am I alone in thinking this an absolute fucking disgrace and yet another good reason for despising the three shits that control the club.

Only 39 seats remain unsold for West Ham vs Liverpool, all of them singles. Expect the game to be sold out by this time tomorrow.
The highest general sale prices in our history and they have pretty much all gone. Impressive, shows just how far we come under David Moyes and his fantastic team players and coaches.

Clubs shouldn't price out potential fans in the good times, in case they find they haven't got enough in the bad times.

Eindhoven…no, I would definitely like to see something done for kids. But I guess the defence for that is the club do often have concession prices, just not for premier league games against the very top tier. That feels reasonable to me. The club had a gifting scheme in place for under privalidged local kids to benefit from spare tickets which I always thought was a nice touch .
People keep comparing 1980s standards and pricing to today. The premier league moved on the standard of the players we watch and the stadiums we watch them in. For those unable to afford that then there is the option of pretty much every game now broadcast on live TV or cheaper live football through the lower leagues. It is what it is. But I don’t think it’s anything to do with greedy owners.

I dont agree with the "If you don't like it, don't pay it" principle. Some people don't have the choice because they just can't pay it.
One of the big things the owners were shouting about as part of the move was "affordable football" and for the most part you have to say they have kept their promise.
To be fair to the owners though, there are plenty of tickets that are affordable with the Europa League packages and cup games - my season ticket is also only £320 up in the heavens.
But for them to now charge at least 65 for a ticket, with no concesions, seems to go against some of what they have been doing with the affordable tickets.

It was a tenner for tomorrow night's game which has sold out.
Since when hasn't the likes of Liverpool been a Cat A game ? I don't think I would have been that shocked if I'd seen the prices before this post tbh.

I can afford a season ticket which gives me a low cost per game.
SO the rest of you can fuck off.

If i csnt get a ticket in the away end and I think i can get away with it i will purchase in the home end. Ive done it this season already at Southampton and will more than likely do the same at Watford. Its just a case of keeping your head down and mouth shut when we score. One exception to this rule was when Mike Small scored a screamer at Highbury in the mid 90s although it sounded like half the north bank were West ham that day.

Always had away fans in home end and plenty of us have been in home ends. Every game like this we hear there will be thousands of away fans yet all you ever get are a few dotted around exactly as there was at upton pk. Loads of us will be trying to get tkts in genk home section next week

Oioi To be fair, that is decent.
As others have said, there will be plenty of Scousers and plastic Scousers in the ground as a result of general sale.

Watch out for plenty of tiddly tourists wearing red who've taken advantage of our owners innovative pricing policy, designed to keep West Ham supporting children away from the game.
Who the fuck needs 'em, says our great chairman. Baroness Brady nods her head in agreement.
Meanwhile cretins on a web site think it's a great policy and a fair price.

Dicko75,
Do you think it’s acceptable that a child’s ticket is exactly the same as an adult?
